Egyptian: Keket

I decided it had been too long since I'd last done an Egyptian picture, and Kierstal re-awakened my love for Egyptology, so this is what came of it.

The sketch sat under my bed for weeks; I also got ill while it was still in the process of being sketched, so it seemed like it took forever to finish.

Her name means Goddess of Darkness in Egyptian. I couldn't decide for the longest time what color to make her fur; it wound up on yellow from advice. I just hope it doesn't drown out the gold. Anyway...quickie background in Photoshop.
